About Minerva
Ten acres of green campus at Prathipadu, with 72,000 square feet of buildings for the school, the colleges and the hostels.
Laboratories and library
Physics, chemistry and biology laboratories serve the junior and degree colleges, and the computer laboratories double as the training centre. The library is shared by every institution on the campus and is open through the working day.
Hostels
Two three-storey hostel blocks, Sarada for boys and Vaishnavi for girls, each with its own dining hall and resident wardens. Over the years students from Kolkata, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Hyderabad, Guntur, Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam have lived here while studying at Minerva.
Transport
A fleet of buses, with vans and autos for the smaller routes, brings day scholars in from 81 villages across 8 mandals and 5 assembly constituencies, within a radius of 28 kilometres of the campus. Cars are kept for emergencies and official work.
Grounds
Playgrounds for games and athletics, space for martial arts and dance, and a skating rink for the younger age groups. The parade ground hosts the NCC, NSS and Scouts and Guides units and the annual sports day.
